  • Love this car!! - 2006 Lexus GS 300

This is my 4th Lexus, with one being 2001 GS 300. The new GS 300 is much improved. The 6 sp. trans. is so smooth with great midrange power. Interior is very quiet and refined. The audio system (not ML) is very crisp and clear. I got 26 mpg overall on first tank of gas and now getting 28. I have had a lot of nice cars over the yrs. BMW, Audi, and other Lexus but this is the nicest. Some have said it lacks power. I feel there is good smooth power and much better feel to the road then by previous GS 300. Love this car!!

  • Good, but not perfection of Lexus - 2006 Lexus GS 300

Good car, but not perfection. I traded my 2000 LX 470 in for this as the fuel prices were getting high and the LX had too many things that needed to be fixed. I liked this car for it had the AWD package and was sporty. The style, layout, and overall looks were what I wanted. The problems are with the fit and finish of this car. The front dash rattles and I have taken it to the dealer 3 times for that. The wheel finish was poor, which I was able to get new wheels under warranty. The tires Run-Flat tires were great as I enjoy a stiff ride, but wore out on the insides, even with proper rotation. Get car, but Lexus fit and finish is really needing help to get back to Lexus quality.

  • Matador Red....G Spiders....Run Flats - 2006 Lexus GS 300

99 GS 300 owner no more. Lexus nailed it with this one. Corners very well, no give or roll during high speed cornering. Run flats did not interest me, but I liked the look and drive of the car, sprung for the 5 year tire road hazard for $385. Car has 900 miles on it, already had a flat. Tire was not defective, so the $385 warranty already paid for itself ($381 to replace/mount the tire). Overall a great car, Lexus service and quality has always impressed me. Compared to my 99, the 06 mpg is impressive. seeing a 4mpg improvement. The G Spiders make this car.We get many WOWS when showing it off. also, RWD has spare tire std since run flats are an option (AWD has std run flats).

  • Awesome Auto - 2006 Lexus GS 300
    By -

This car has it all, not only is it fun to drive but the performance and ride quality are exceptional. The push button start and the ability to open the doors and trunk without fumbling for keys is great. The controls on the car were easy to figure out without having to study the owners manual. The adaptive front headlights and bright headlamps make it easy on the eyes when driving at night. The interior spot lighting is bright enough for passengers to read by without interfering with the drivers vision.

  • I love this car!! - 2006 Lexus GS 300

I just purchased a 2006 GS 300 CPO with 16K miles and I love it! The car is awesome! People actually stare at the car when you drive! I traded in my 2002 ES 300 and Im sure glad I did. The GS comes with so many nice features - smooth ride, halogen lights, heat/cool seats, 3 person memory driver and passenger seats, bluetooth phone. A month later I am still noticing cool features I didnt notice before. The car offers you a sporty feel with total luxury & durability.

  • Smooth and Classy - 2006 Lexus GS 300

From the moment I left the dealer I have been thrilled with my Lexus GS 300. It has classic yet new lines, and drives very smoothly. The look to me, the color and everything about it exude class. I am once again thrilled to own a new Lexus.

  • Smoooth operator - 2006 Lexus GS 300

Smoooth best describes the GS 300 AWD. Have owned a number of mid-sized sedans including BMW 5 series, and Audi A6 2.7t, the Lexus is considerably quieter with a smoother ride, but gives up a bit of ultimate handling if you like to shave a 10th of a second off your time turning into the local shopping center. On the highway, its hard to beat with a natural (and potentially ticket collecting) cruising speed of 75 to 80 mph while returning 26 mpg. Overall, if you are not driving at 10/10ths all the time, its a great compromise between ride and handling, not to mention Lexus reliability and build quality.

  • Best Value - 2006 Lexus GS 300

The Lexus GS AWD is fun to drive and more youthful than the E Class and Acura RL. The GS has the best exterior styling. It is very quiet and has a very smooth ride. When it is time to go the GS moves quickly, like a trained stallion. The interior is rich, but not overstated. The controls are place perfectly. People just stare at the car. The GS has exceeded my expectation in value, ride/drive, and design. It is the perfect car for an excutive that runs a conservative and innovative business. The car adds to a persons brand.

  • One Great Car - 2006 Lexus GS 300

Didnt like the interior/dash of the M35 or 530. Liked the handling, exterior and interior appearance of the A6, but from the first drive of the GS300 my wife and I loved the performance, ride and quietness. We had a 2004 S80 T6 before, great acceleration and low end torque but too on/off. GS300 is a very comfortable car to drive, smooth seamless shifting and braking. Had a slight tracking problem but dealership and Lexus rep. jumped on the problem quickly and resolved it with minimal inconvenience to me. Fuel economy is unbelievable for a 245hp vehicle. Highway gives 38 mpg (Imperial)@75mph, mixed driving is 30 mpg (Imperial).
